No problem to our gate and everything was on time. The 747-400 was massive with a second story. Lucky Katy waite and Tia macdonald even got to sit up there. Both our teams were spread out like you wouldn't believe! But a few were able to trade and get together.
We got to Paris no prob and everyone is wide awake. So far. 3:30 am back home and 930 here. Becky and Robyn apparently went crazy on coffees so there will be some fun hyperactivity on the next flight for sure!
A few adventures already! They clear out the 2nd story of the plane first, so that meant Tia and Katy got booted out earlier than the rest of us. Security was waiting at the bottom of the ramp forcibly ushering us onto buses to customs. Well Katy and Tia hopped on the first bus, figured out their gate number and went through customs way ahead of us! 10 out of 10 for independence but minus several thousand for making coaches sweat! We found them at our gate in plenty of time though, and reminded them to call for their mommies (or guardian) the next time security tries to bully them through!
Then Katy quickly redeemed herself and noticed our gate had silently closed as all 15 of us were parked in front of it. They had boarded early as we were going through customs, and claimed we were all paged. Hmmm... You think one of us might have heard our name... But no problem, we all got on, and we weren't even the last passengers on! Feeling a little sleepy as we are a 2 hour flight away from Warsaw. I think my adventures are done for now. See you in Warsaw!
